I recently had the pleasure of shooting an engagement session for a lovely couple from Kansas. They’ve recently made Austin their home and we wanted to incorporate the feel of this bustling city into the photos. The above photo was shot on the grounds of The State Capitol Building in downtown Austin. This dramatic photo was achieved with one speedlite fired off camera, behind and below the couple (a technique known as Strobist photography)

Take a look at a few photos from a lovely wedding I had the good fortune of documenting at House On The Hill, a beautiful little west Austin venue nestled in a nook of Texas’ always-inspiring Hill Country… click here to see ’em!
Check out some lovely photos in this still evolving album… Rachelle and Charlie were married at Hamilton Twelve, a gorgeous Hill Country venue on the outskirts of Austin, just a stone’s throw away from Hamilton Pool. Click here to see the pics!!
I had the opportunity to shoot this lovely wedding at The Driskill in downtown Austin recently. This hotel really does stand out from the rest with its old world craftsmanship and storied history, dating back to 1880. It really does set the standard for elegance in Austin. Check out some photos from this still-evolving album here !!
I had the great fortune of shooting Vic & Neda’s engagement pics and their lovely wedding. We shot these in about a 90 minute block in downtown Austin…
